I wanted to love Biossance.
And to be fair… I kind of did. Just not in the way I expected.
I tried their night core routine (with a few products used during the day as well), plus their Vitamin C serum and Omega moisturizer. I used everything consistently for about two months, which already sets this experience apart from most skincare lines I’ve tried.
Here’s what actually happened.

First Impressions: It Feels Really Good
The first thing I noticed was how good everything felt.
The textures are smooth, the scents are subtle, and the whole routine feels calm and a little indulgent. It’s the kind of skincare that makes you slow down a bit. Not in a dramatic, life-changing way—but enough that it turns your routine into something you actually look forward to.
It definitely gives that “I have my life together” energy… even if everything else is chaos.
What It Did Well: Calm, Happy Skin
This is where Biossance really stood out for me.
My skin felt noticeably calmer. I had less redness overall, and my skin just seemed… less reactive.
Compared to Paula’s Choice, which I’ve used before and found effective but sometimes a bit intense, Biossance felt gentler and more soothing over time.
Another big win: no breakouts.
If you’ve ever tried products that should work but end up causing congestion or irritation (looking at you, Inkey List), you know how valuable that is. My skin stayed stable the entire time, which honestly goes a long way.
So in terms of maintaining skin health and reducing irritation, it did exactly what it promised.

What It Didn’t Do: No Real Transformation
But here’s the part that surprised me.
My skin didn’t really improve visibly.
It didn’t get worse—at all—but things like uneven texture and tone stayed pretty much the same. I kept waiting for that moment where I’d look in the mirror and think, okay, something is changing, and it just… didn’t happen.
This feels like more of a “maintain and soothe” routine than a “transform your skin” one.
And depending on what you’re looking for, that could either be a good thing or a bit underwhelming.

The Unexpected Win: The Products Actually Lasted
One thing that genuinely impressed me: the products lasted about two months.
That might not sound groundbreaking, but if you’ve tried multiple skincare lines, you know how rare that is—especially with serums.
I’ve used products in the past that barely lasted a month with regular use. So the fact that these lasted twice as long actually changes how I see the price.
Yes, Biossance is expensive—but it’s not disappearing overnight. And that matters.
Final Thoughts: Worth It… But Know What You’re Getting
Biossance is not a miracle skincare line.
But it is a very solid one.
If your goal is calmer, less reactive skin, it delivers. My skin felt good, stable, and well cared for throughout my time using it.
If your goal is to fix uneven texture, brighten significantly, or see visible changes, you might need something more targeted.
What this experience made me realize is that not all good skincare is meant to change your skin.
Some of it is just meant to prevent things from getting worse—and to keep your skin feeling balanced and healthy.
And honestly, there’s something valuable about that.
